Initially, the waterfall chart would look like:

To make the Start and End bars as Total bars, do a slow double click on those bars, then right click. Choose Set as Total.

Do this to other total bars and see the result:

TreeMap Chart

Treemap charts provide a hierarchical view of data in order to spot patterns. The “branches” are represented as rectangles and sub-branches are shown in smaller rectangles.

To make a treemap, data must have at least two branches (in our example, region and store locations.)

The example above is made by highlighting the data, then going to a new button in the Insert tab, the Hierarchy Charts.
