Engineering Data

Engineering data consists of three subgroups: CAD/CAE, math models, and test data.CAD/CAE: defined as computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering, respectively. CAD typically uses a third-party product that can utilize data during the design phase to create augmented-reality instructions. This allows the designer to predict possible failures before creation. Thus VR/AR can be integrated with CAD to enhance better design and greatly reduce faults that can be missed prior to operation.
