Chapter 6 Systems of Linear Equations

In the previous chapter, we solved for the x and y of linear equations. When we solved for x and y, we were calculating where an individual intersects the x and y-axis. Systems of Linear Equations refer to calculations of two or more equations at the same time.

Here, instead of calculating x and y-axis intersection, we must calculate where the two lines intersect each other. There are two methods to determine the point of intersection: the substitution method and the addition method. Both methods are discussed in detail below.
