CHAPTER 15

It's been a couple of hours since we came back to the infirmary. The pack doctor was not happy that I left without his permission but concluded after a checkup that I was well enough to be discharged. After getting my father set up in a room a few doors down from me, I was sent to bed to get more rest. But I wasn't getting any sleep. Instead I was burning up. My whole body was on fire. I was sweating and panting uncontrollably. I kicked the sheets off of me and sat up in bed. I don't know why I'm so hot. I was only wearing a tank top and a pair of panties but I felt like I was living in a sauna. I couldn't be in heat. Jonah and I haven't mated yet.

Just the thought of his name made my insides boil even more and my temperature skyrocketed causing a throbbing sensation between my legs. “That's it” I thought, I need Jonah. I need him really bad to complete the mates bond. I suppressed the bond and my attraction to him for so long that it was all rushing back to me all at once. Only he can ease this feeling and scratch this itch. Getting up on shaky legs I wobbled out my room and to Jonah's door. I knocked and waited resting my head on the cool door trying to find some form of relief. I heard shuffling around on the other side of the door and then it opens to reveal Jonah standing in the moonlight that was filtering through his open window. He was shirtless in only his boxers and tussled hair. He stared at me as I stood there panting like a wild animal and holding myself up on the door frame. I'm sure I looked like a mad woman standing there with wild hair, hanging on to the door frame for support.

“Alexandria? Are you alright?” He asked. His voice laced with concern.

“I...I need you” I panted out before launching myself into his arms. I caught him off guard and he stumbled back a few steps but didn't drop me as I wrapped my legs around his waist. I attacked his face landing kiss after kiss until I found his lips and sealed it with mine. He gave a throaty growl and roughly kissed me back. After a few seconds he pulled back separating our lips. We were both panting once we parted.

“Alexandria, you're still healing” He started but I was already shaking my head no. “Maybe we should wait until you are feeling better.” He finish smoothing down my wild hair.

“I feel fine Jonah.” I said kissing his cheek. “I just want you so bad” I said kissing my way down his neck making his pulse race. “I know you want me to” I finished in a husky voice.

“Yeah, I do” He said in an even more husky voice then mine.

“Then take me, Jonah” I said.

“You're sure?” He asked.

“Yes” I whispered in his ear.
