The dark clouds are really coming in on the ride back. I’m gripping Artemis’ reins as I follow Cameron’s large stallion, which I found out is named Ares. All of the horses on the ranch are named after Greek Gods, which I think is fitting because all of these guys look like Greek Gods.

We’re in the middle of the field with nothing around except for the spectacular mountains surrounding the ranch.

A deafening crack of thunder tears through the sky above us and it spooks Artemis (and me). With a squeal, she lifts up her front legs and I tumble off her and onto the ground. She takes off before I even realize what happened.

“Ouch,” I groan as I push myself up to a sitting position. My shoulder is aching. I landed right on it. Stupid horse. We’re going to have to have a talk when we get back.

Cameron is at my side in an instant, kneeling in front of me and asking if I’m okay. He looks so worried. He’s so concerned. It’s cute.

I’ll be fine after a hot bath and maybe an Advil or two, but I don’t mind playing it up a little bit to keep his attention.

“It hurts,” I say with an exaggerated wince. “But, I’ll be okay.”

He carefully wraps his big arms around me and holds me close. I’m always amazed how someone so strong and big can be so tender and gentle with me. It makes my heart ache.

Another crack of thunder erupts over our heads, only this time, it comes with a sheet of warm rain. The sky just opens up and drenches us and the ranch with some much-needed water.

I wish I had a camera to take a picture of the wide smile on Cameron’s face as he looks up at the rain. We’re both completely drenched and both completely blissfully happy.

“Finally,” he says with a breath of relief. “Fucking finally.”

He looks into my eyes, smiling wide and shakes his head. “Fucking finally for you too, Willow. I’m getting everything I needed today.”

We kiss as the warm rain coats us like a blanket and bounces off our bodies. This time I deepen the kiss and push him down. He pulls me on top of him as he lays on the ground, our lips locked in an erotic kiss.

I pull away and look down at him as he lies in the wet grass. “What if I don’t want to wait until we get home?”

Before he can answer I take off my shirt and unclasp my bra. The rain coats my slick skin as he stares at my hard nipples and swallows hard.

“I was ready to claim you the second I saw you,” he moans with a hint of agony in his eyes. “My cock has been hard and ready for you all day. Touch it and see.”

I hold my breath as I slide my palm down his hard stomach and onto the crotch of his jeans.

“Oh, fuck,” we moan together when I feel his hard shaft throbbing under my palm.
