Cazi
When Riah told me sheâd keep the kids I came straight here. At first, I thought about all the hotels she couldâve gone to and the thought of her taking her life had me shook. It wasnât until her mom contacted me and mentioned her being there. I was relieved because I knew theyâd never allow anything to happen to her.
I took my shoes off and got in bed with her. Sleep never came for me because I couldnât take my eyes off her. This woman is my everything and Iâm gonna do whatever I need to keep her in my life. Itâs definitely going to be a task for her to see my mistake everyday but shit, I didnât even know about her.
I hope Amara takes that into consideration because like I told her before, this marriage is til death do us part and by all means, Iâll probably kill her if she tried to leave.
âYou knew all this time and didnât say a word?â I asked my wife after learning she knew of Destiny this entire time. She shrugged her shoulders.
âNow I know how Simone found out where I worked.â Amara gave me a fake smile.
âWhy didnât you say anything? Had me going crazy tryna figure a way to tell you.â I paced her old bedroom in her parentsâ house.
âHell no Cazi. Donât even think about putting this on me. Whether I knew or not, it was your responsibility to tell me. Not hers, not mine when I found out or your evil ass mother who Iâm probably gonna smack the shit out of again when I see her just because.â I didnât even respond because sheâs right. I sat on the edge of the bed and grabbed both of her hands as she stood in front of me.
âYouâre right Amara it was my responsibility and Iâm sorry you found out the way you did.â
âWhen were you going to tell me?â
âLast night before the people showed up. When you called to tell me my mom was there, I had flowers, a card, candy and some expensive ass jewelry, along with a trip to your favorite place in Belize.â She took her hands outta mine and crossed her arms. I pointed to the corner where I put everything at, so she knew I wasnât lying.
âAmara, I know this is a lot to ask but do you think you can handle seeing Destiny everyday? I wonât put her in a foster home, and I wonât lose you either.â
âCazi.â
âItâs either that, or Iâm gonna have to kill you.â I said it in a tone she knew too well.
âWhat?â I walked over to her door and locked it.
âYouâll never be with another man Amara. Call me selfish, all kinds of bastards, fight me to get your frustrations out and whatever else you need to. Just know death is the only way out.â I had my hand around her throat while my other one made its way in her leggings. The two of us havenât had any type of sexual intimacy since her accident.
