8.1 = Arjun: What is Karma?
8.2 = Arjun: Who is the creator of our body and soul?
8.3 = Krishna: Any work done without expectation of personal fruits and for the betterment of society is Karma in real sense. God is the creator of body and soul.
8.4 = Krishna: I am also present in the soul inside human body
8.5 = Krishna: Those who target me achieve me. There is no doubt about it
More Insight ->>> Here in chapter eight, “Salvation” means freedom from life and death and achievement of God.
8.6 = Krishna: At the time of death what so ever a person thinks achieves in next birth. There is no exception about it.
More Insight ->>> suppose at the time of death at last movement of life if a person visualize “riches and abundance” he will achieve the same in his next birth.
More Insight ->>> Good people thinks and visualizes them with God at the time of death and achieves them. Achieving God is achievement of a supreme goal and freedom of birth and death.
More Insight ->>> Achievement of God is actually not possible for a person doing bad deeds in life. You might have seen many people die in accident at that time most people don’t get time to visualize anything so they get demotion. This step seems to be very easy but only possible if people get natural death. Natural death is only possible with the grace of God. Grace of God comes to only good people.
8.7 = Krishna: Visualize with me at the time of death. You will achieve me. Freedom from life & death
8.8 = Krishna: He who thinks of nothing else but (God) me, surely achieves God.
8.9.10 = Krishna: He who thinks of nothing else but (God) me at the time of death. Such person posses the form beyond human and stay with God.
8.11 = Krishna: Now I am telling you briefly about how one can achieve supreme goal.
More Insight ->>> Man’s supreme goal is to get freedom from birth and death and to achieve God
8.12.13 = Krishna: Now having controlled all senses via mind and not allowing your mind to wander in other things except God. Chanting OM (Taking the name of God) and dwelling completely on God at the time of death reaches the supreme goal.
8.14 = Krishna: I am easily attainable for all those who desire me
8.15.16 = Krishna: Having attaining me the person’s soul does not have to take birth again. He achieve freedom
8.17 = Krishna: Those who know that God comprises the day duration of four billion three hundred and twenty million years and his night also the duration of four billion three hundred and twenty million years knows the reality of time.
More Insight ->>> Here God wants to describe that take the maximum utility of time. Few people do work of 48 hours in 24 hours and many do 2-hour work in 24 hours. We have limited time in day and nights do not waste it.
