“Girl I don't know who told you to set me up on a blind date but I’m not feeling it.” I said fussing at my sister.

She told me to get dressed in something cute and come to her house so that we could go out but when I get here I found out it's not just me and her going out it's actually me, her, Dakari and his cocky ass brother Cree. She wants us to all hang out together for some reason. I feel like they are all up to something and I intend to find out what that is.

The past month our relationship has blossomed back into the same open loving relationship we had when we were teenagers minus all of the petty arguing we used to do when we were younger of course. We have spent time together whenever we can, and we have been very open with each other in an attempt to build our bond back and I have really valued all of it.

At first it was a little awkward because after all these years we were basically having to get to know each other all over again. I mean, we have both changed a lot since then. But one thing you can't change between us is that sister bond that we had, it’s definitely coming back. Her and I both agreed that we feel so much more complete having each other back in each other's lives again. She has even started a great bond with my daughter, and I couldn't be happier about that.

The other day I took her with me to a family members house and they were more than overjoyed to see her again after so long. She really has been very open to seeing all of our family again, even though she started a new one somewhere else. She says it feels good for her to revisit her old roots. We are both definitely looking forward to holidays and other special events together. But now I think she trying to get me a man, and I don’t think it’s gonna happen until I am ready.

“Who said you were going on a blind date? This is just simply me inviting you to hang out with us tonight that's all.”

“Mmhm. Well who told you I wanted to hang out with him? He seems cocky as hell and you know I hate cocky niggas! I know we haven't been reunited very long, but still you should remember that even when we were in high school.” I spat.

“Girl he is not cocky hush! Cree is a very nice guy you just have to get to know him I promise.” She replied finishing her make up.

“Yeah, but you know how I am. Still, I don't know if I'm going to like him or not.” I said shrugging my shoulders and fixing my hair. I stood beside her in her master bathroom glaring at her through the mirror while we finished getting ready.
