There is a lake region or island with the name D.t wr + det. of water (mw), “Island of the Great Flood of Water” in the Extreme west of the island, under the stern of the sacred barge of Osiris-Uennofer, and next to the stern of the sacred barge, in the metropolis of the island, the water city, also inside an oval, symbol of the lake region, marsh or island, the text: n’.t nTr + det. of water (mw), “Isle of the City of The God of Water (Sea)” . It seems to be another title of the same Osiris but in his appearance of Osiris-Atum, as god of the waters.

It is more than obvious that a deity whose title or sobriquet is shown at the very center of the “Great Island”, with that specific meaning, could have no better candidate than Poseidon for the translation of names made by Solon – through Egyptian sources. Do we need any more evidence to prove that Atlantis story came from Egyptian sources, such as it is stated in the Critias?
