There’s no point in apologizing, and you can’t expect people to accept the apology when they know you’re going to do the shit again. It’s foolishness.” Truth stood there with a stone face. There was nothing he could say because he knew I was right. “At the end of the day, you were wrong, and it’s probably going to take him some time to forgive you. Yeah, you apologized, but this isn’t the first time you’ve done it. Then you keep saying you’re going through something, but you’re not the only person going through anything. Here it is, some bitch came out of nowhere acting like she was here to help me, and she kidnapped me. From what I gathered, she has a connection to Prophet, and she was trying to kill me to find a way to get closer to him. So, what you keep saying you’re going through ain’t shit compared to what I’ve gone through in those few hours that I was with that crazy bitch. My life flashed before my eyes not knowing if I was going to be able to get away from her. I came back to my man, who wanted to focus on me. He told you that’s what he was doing, and that wasn’t good enough for you. The world doesn’t revolve around you, Truth. You need to understand that.”

“Then fuckin’ act like it,” Prophet finally chimed in. “I told you that my baby was back. You should’ve known I was trying to comfort her and get to the bottom of what happened to her, but you didn’t care. All you wanted to do was continue to talk about this meeting with Cortez that I set up. Not once did you ask if she was okay. Not once did you ask what happened to her. Not once did you ask if there was anything you could’ve done to make things better because you were so worried about meeting up with Cortez. You’re acting like he’s your brother or you wanna ride the nigga dick or some shit.
