Tony couldn’t really argue with sound logic like that. He saw that there were dead coming behind her and said, “Holly, there are dead coming behind you!”

There was nowhere to run that would be safe. The options were pretty slim. She knew the stairwell wasn’t worth a shit. Getting into the room was their best bet, which still sucked, given the fact there were dead in there as well. If they got lucky enough, maybe some had fallen out of the window, trying to eat some poor student on the ground in the commons outside. Holly brought the ax down once for practice and a second time with as much force and power as she could physically muster. She brought down the blade as hard as she could. It was all or nothing because without help she’d never fight off the dead coming for them. Without Tony, she wasn’t sure just how much she would want to live during this hell unfolding on Earth.
