Chapter 6- Trail through caatinga

Taking it in turns as always, our adventurers spend the night at that sanctuary. The moment required a profound reflection of everything that has been accomplished up to then: From the meeting at Arcoverde until the park at Buíque, they have already advanced a great deal in terms of evolution and the responsible for it, was named father God. Independently of the gigantic challenge that was to live with their own pain, they were learning the rhythm of coexistence and the face of the place, the wild nature of caatinga which spread out in all the directions. It had been a great alternative, the walk in that park and the subsequent decision-making to which they had been subjected would not be such a catastrophe. On the contrary, it was something extremely necessary that the son of God would make a point of stressing.

The group has a clear impression that their wishes are taken shape and become reality in that beautiful wild awakening: On the North side, one can see the greatness of the mountain of Catimbau; on the South side, the smallness of the village of the same name; in the West, the jungle that spreads out for kilometres; in the East, the Canyon between mountains, a valley that in remote past housed a sea arm, where in the middle appears a resplendent sun. The view is simply spectacular and they ask themselves whether they are really on Earth or in a paradise in a supposed seventh dimension.

Everything is indeed fantastic: The surrounding people, the nature and the challenge itself. In good spirits, our adventurers rise early from the tent, lit again the fire with the remaining fire wood, prepare some boiled eggs and when ready they help themselves. While eating, they engage in small talk.

—We begin another day. Is it everything alright with you, guys? (The son of God)

—I feel like I have never felt before. It was about time that I had a trip like this, for it renews the strength and expands the options. I don’t feel old. (Messias Escapuleto)

— Oh, so good. But don’t feel old. Man is not measured by the grey hairs, but by his wisdom. (Aldivan)

— I know, I know. You say that because you are still in your thirties. Let you reach my age. (Retorted Messias Escapuleto)

—When I reach your age, is for I have learned much and lived long. I will never feel old. (Replied the son of God)

—Very good. (Sighed Messias)

—I also feel very good walking here. Walking beside such special people and with the nature it is a dream of four out five persons. I feel honoured. (Emanuel Melkin Escapuleto)

— It is me who feel honoured for having my saviour by my side. If were not for you, I would have been smashed to pieces by that moving vehicle. You were a real guardian angel in my life. (Aldivan)

— Don’t mention it! I am only a servant. Your real protector is Uriel, the Super-powerful prince of the main celestial militia.
