How to download and install a new theme

With the power of themes, you can spice up the appearance of your site in a matter of minutes, and there are literally thousands of themes for you to choose from. Our first stop will be the official WordPress.org themes section and you can download and install themes whilst inside the WordPress Dashboard. You have two options to download a theme - you can either download the theme from the official themes page at http://WordPress.org/themes, or any other website, then upload and activate; or you can download the theme directly from the Appearance and Themes menu and activate without uploading. Whichever method you choose, downloading and activating a theme will only take you a few minutes. We’ll download and activate a theme from inside the Appearance menu in the Dashboard. In the Dashboard, hover your mouse over Appearance and then select Themes:
