Security, in the context of Internet use, has a couple of different meanings. On one level, security means guarding your identity when using sites where you have to log in to access certain content. On another level, security means being protected from fake sites, viruses, and other malware as you surf the web. In the following sections, you’ll learn about security in both of those ways.
