Ingredients

For the sauce

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari

3 tbsp. hoisin sauce

1 1/2 tsp. of grated fresh ginger

2 large clove garlic that have been minced

1/4 to 1/2 tsp. of red pepper flakes

For the Lo Mein:

12 ounces uncooked whole wheat spaghetti

2 tbsp. of olive oil

1 red onion that have been sliced

1/2 pound of asparagus

2 cups of broccoli florets

1 pound of stems and leaves

Chopped cashews or peanuts

Chopped fresh basil

Instructions

For the sauce:

Take a small bowl, and in it you will whisk all the ingredients for the sauce, then set it aside.
