Chapter 06

Melida had gone on many dates in her life., and even though this would be her first date with another girl, she couldn’t remember ever feeling this nervous. She certainly hadn’t spent so much time choosing what to wear.

No. No. Urgh, not this one, she thought as she stood before the mirror. She waved her hand and her reflection changed clothes thanks to the illusion magic she had cast. It was useful when she needed to see how she would look in different outfits quickly. It was supposed to save time, but she was spending just as much time choosing clothes as if she were trying them on.

Everything looks plain! Why can’t I decide on an outfit? We’re just gonna celebrate. It’s not even a real date, Melida shouted in her head. She groaned in frustration and threw herself on the bed, burying her face in a pillow.

I’m just buying a swimsuit with Jen and then we’ll eat something. Why am I this nervous? It must be my succubus blood. Even though it’s weak, it’s been acting all weird ever since I kissed her that second time. Ever since Leila said she saw something in our future…

But why is my blood reacting to a girl? It never reacted like this with a boy. She thought for a moment but then shook her head. I don’t have time to think about that now. I need to pick an outfit and do my makeup.

After struggling for longer than she ever had, Melida finally picked a deep blue skirt with a black blouse, long boots with heels, and a fedora hat. She used magic to make her red hair flowy, then did her makeup.

I look great. I bet Jen will love it, she thought. She twirled in front of the mirror. When she thought of the witch, she giggled and smiled. What will she wear? I’ve only seen her with the school coat and that plain workout outfit. She only cares about studying. I doubt she has many clothes. I bet she doesn’t even have a swimsuit. Swimsuit…

Melida felt the guilt filling her

After their last kiss, she realized the reason behind Jen’s Celeste control problem. Not only were her spiritual veins thinner than most Hominidae, but the region where the clog happened was underdeveloped. Exercising was helping, but it would take time, and there was a chance the clog could grow back even if her spiritual veins became stronger.

Since that region was controlled by unconscious desires, especially sexual ones, the best way to stop the clog from ever appearing was to develop the region. In other words, sexual stimulus. It didn’t have to be losing her virginity or anything close to it. Simply doing things that stimulated desire was enough. The way to do it was different for everyone.

There was a part of Melida, the succubus part, that awoke whenever they kissed, that wanted to stimulate Jen like that, but she felt as if she was taking advantage. She also doubted Jen would want to do that.
