Ingredients

1kg Chicken

4 seeds Ehu or Ariwo or Calabash Nutmeg

Chilli Pepper (to taste)

2 teaspoons crushed Dry Uziza (optional)

2 medium onions

Salt (to taste)

3 stock cubes

1 teaspoon of Thyme (for chicken pepper soup)

Directions

Add water to the pot and put the chicken pieces in it. Make sure the water is filled in the pot till all the contents are covered

Add the thyme, stock cubes, and the onions. Wait until it is cooked.

When you notice that some water is dried add some more water into the pot and fill the pot again with water to the level of contents present in the pot.

Now add the ground Ehu, chili pepper, dry uziza and salt in the pot.

Once all the ingredients are added to the pot cover the pot and leave it to boil for at least 5 minutes.

Your pepper soup is ready to be served.
