Notes on Martyn’s behavior, day 3

8:00 P.M.: Dinner. Jeremiah asked M to say thanks to God before eating and M did so. We’re running out of tins of beans so we saved some & just ate toast. Raymond had to cut the moldy bits off the corner of the bread and it tasted stale. Martyn made a remark about being tired of toast, toast, toast. Thomas was not present; T was in the Prayer Room. M asked if he should take him some food. Jeremiah agreed and thanked M for his kindness.
