Then, the Lord God drove them out of the Garden of Eden, man was driven out of the presence of God. This was the beginning of the death throes, sorrows, sufferings, wars, plagues, epidemics, calamities and curses that befell mankind and the earth.

These all began when man stepped out of God’s presence by breaking the Laws of God.

You know laws are no respecter of persons. If you violate the law of gravity, by jumping from a five-storey building, you will end up in a hospital no matter your age, social status or religious beliefs.

Adam and Eve violated God’s law and thus brought all humanity as victims along with them.

But Jesus Christ came, offered Himself as an atonement and died on a cross to pay for man’s sins, to set into motion a new and higher law: the law of life, so that any man or woman no matter his or her past, religion, race, social status, nationality or culture, if he or she obeys this law by believing and receiving Christ as His Lord and Saviour becomes automatically saved and born again as a child of God.

This is regeneration – the first step to welcoming God’s energizing presence into your heart. It is your surrender to the love, mercy and forgiveness of God for your sins. It is the greatest decision any man can make on earth, to receive Christ Jesus and forgiveness of sins,
