Dolphins in Minecraft often chase players who are in boats. If you drop something into the water, they might play with it.

Coral Reefs

Coral reefs are ridges formed in warm, shallow oceans by tiny creatures called corals. There are coral reefs in Minecraft, too. Colorful coral blocks and coral fans make up these areas in warm ocean biomes.

Minecraft coral comes in five different colors and five different varieties. Living coral is brightly colored, but any kind of coral dies when it’s moved out of water. Dead coral is a flat gray color. This reflects coral bleaching in the real world. This is when the tiny creatures living on coral leave or die, which makes the coral white. Bleached coral often dies.
