Somehow at some point, my email [email protected] had already registered a Paypal account.

What can I do?

I tried to log in using iforgot my password.

I tried. But I failed at passing the security when it comes to the mobile I cancelled. I did make efforts trying to spend money on purchasing two new contracts to buy my old numbers back, but they were unrecoverable. Because Vodafone had sold them. And judging from the hacker’s tight grips on my accounts using 7857891777 in 2-step verification, I am forever doomed. I understand now why the number is important after looking at the collection of photos stashed in the hacker’s library—my contract and contact details with my publishers CreateSpace and EHGbooks, together with the log in email [email protected] which despite of my efforts to have it terminated it was restored by someone but me.

One precious lesson I have learned :

Never cancel anything online. Because as long as I don’t cancel, no matter how remote the possibility is I still have chance to recover. It’s only a matter of time. But once I wave my rights, it’s gone for good. Keep changing accounts and creating new ones does not help my situations at all. One or two relationships at a time is enough.

Just when I thought I finally had done something right, my son came to me saying for the very first time since he had that Xbox 360, “ Mum! I can’t play football. Xbox’s password’s wrong.”

I felt like an idiot. All this time, who has been the true account owner?

I keyed in my passwords, the most important key to my only working ymail address. But I felt insecure. So I logged online to look into the account setting….
