CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR - EDDIE

We finish our lunch and champagne, and I pull her close to me, wanting to touch her all the time.

“Hmmmm, you had enough to eat?” I ask, because she barely ate a thing. She usually doesn’t eat a lot, but after the scare in the car, I think she lost her appetite.

Fury builds in my body, even now as I think about it. I have driven around Baltimore all my life and never once had an incident such as that. Now, the one time I take her out, a homeless man slams his face against the window and scared the living shit out of her. It was unusual and had me on high alert. Given that she just moved here, and that is the second fright she has had since she arrived, it is not doing anything to show her that Baltimore and I are safe choices for her.

“I’m completely satisfied.” She sighs, leaning into me as I hold her, her back to my front.

“Completely?” I whisper, my lips running down her neck. I can’t get enough of this woman.

“Eddie…” she half moans, half growls with caution.

“There is no one here, baby. Just me and you,” I say, running my hands up her front and cupping her breasts.

I have had my eye on this place for months. This is what I want for my forever home. The fact that it’s neighbors with my brother Ben’s residence is also a bonus. This place is currently for sale, and I have expressed an interest. Although the owners are currently overseas and not looking at offers until they return in a few months’ time, it is only a matter of formalities until they sell it to me. It isn’t cheap, in excess of fifteen million, but it is private, secure, has all the mod cons. It’s exactly what I want.

“Cameras?” she asks tentatively.

“No one is going to see you, I made sure of that,” I tell her as my lips find her ear, and I kiss her jaw, getting hard in the process. This place has a state-of-the-art security system. One I turned off this morning and will reactivate when we leave, thanks to a healthy fee I paid the current owners. They know I am here. Everything is aboveboard. They are old friends with my dad, so they know all about my need for security and privacy. They are currently on their yacht in Europe, so they don’t really care. This house is merely one in their portfolio of many.

“Eddie,” she breathes my name again, and I notice her eyes close as I tweak her nipples in my hands, her back arching, telling me she is very much enjoying my mouth and hands on her.

With one hand, I start undoing her dress, opening the buttons to get better access to her breast. My other hand runs up her chest, and I cup her jaw, turning her face to me, wanting my lips on hers.

“Let me kiss you, baby,” I say, my dick throbbing against my zipper as I pull her back to my chest, taking her weight.
