Samuel Clemens spent the better part of the morning trying to figure out how to reach Juan Sanchez, Roberto's cousin. Sam remembered him saying he had inherited his house. Back in the day, you would just look a guy’s number up in the phone book, or dial 411 and ask the information lady for the number. Now with these cell phones, it was a bit more convoluted.

He was finally able to locate where the guy worked. He was a mechanic at a local car dealership. Sam called down there, got transferred to the service department and asked for Juan by name. The lady who answered sent someone to get him.

A few minutes later, Sam heard a click then a man's voice. "Hello, this is Juan Sanchez. Can I help you?"

"Hi, Juan. This is Sam, Sam Clemens. You remember, the guy you and your nephew Alonzo visited, out at my cabin?"

"Oh, yeah. Mr. Clemens, course I remember you."

Sam heard some muffled sounds then Juan's voice again, speaking much lower.

"We're not allowed to take personal calls on the company phone. Give me your number, and I'll call you back on my cell."

Sam did then said, "Will you be calling me back soon?"

"Yeah, just need to get to a place where I can talk. Gimme a sec." He hung up.

As he waited, Sam realized it was close to lunch. He wandered over to the fridge and was just about to open it up when his phone rang. "Okay, then. Guess he really meant it." He walked back and picked it up, saw an unfamiliar number, guessed it had to be Juan. "Hello, Sam Clemens."

"It’s me, Juan."

"Thanks for calling back so soon. And please, call me Sam."

"Okay…Sam. I can only talk a couple of minutes. If we need to talk longer, I go on lunch break in fifteen."

"This won't take long."

"Good. How are things coming with your search? You know, for my cousin's killer. Made any progress?"

"Some. And that detective who came the day you were here, Lieutenant Boyd, he's working on it, too. We were just comparing notes yesterday."

"Good to hear. So…something you want me to do?"

"I remember you mentioning something about inheriting the house Roberto lived in at the time he died. Do you still live there?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Good. Think I may have mentioned he was working on a documentary when he was killed. I believe the man who killed your cousin did it to stop that film from getting made. Your cousin was borrowing some of my camera equipment for the project. That day, when I came to his house and found him murdered, I’d gone there to pick that equipment up. Course, that never happened because of the way I found him. Don't really care about the equipment anymore. I'm sure it's totally obsolete. But I am wondering if maybe Roberto left any information on that equipment that might help me figure out who the documentary was about. We have reason to believe, it could be about exposing a Nazi war criminal.
