Optionally, carrots, beans and cabbage pieces (1 cup altogether) may also be added along with potatoes

Instead of beef, mutton can be used as well.

Beef Roast

Ingredients

1 kg beef without bones

4 dry red chillies (split)

salt to taste

1/2 cup oil or ghee

3 onions (sliced long)

1 tomatoes (chopped)

1 tbsp red chilli flakes

Method

Step 1 - Roasting the Beef

Beef should be cut just into two chunks. Score each piece. Add the split red chillies. Place in a cooker or pan and add sufficient salt and water. Cook till done. (if a pressure cooker is used, cook till 3 whistles)

Slice the boiled meat into thin pieces.
