Realm Commander Mary J. Bishop of the Wisconsin WKKK, circa 1925. Authorâs collection.
As for the all-important fundraising efforts to keep each Klavern financially solvent, it was made clear in resolution number eight that the womenâs fundraisers should not get too socially controversial. âDancing or card playing partiesâ were not allowed to be hosted under the name of the WKKK.
Lastly, the provincial convention reflected on just how respected Excellent Commander Tess Trainer had become within the larger statewide WKKK network. Trainer had been appointed by Bishop to serve as a vice-president of the Realmâs state convention, or Great Klaliff.156
