Chapter Twenty-Two
HARRIS
Two years before the party
Harris stood in bewilderment, wondering what had just happened. As he tried to make sense of Isabelleâs words, he felt someone behind him. He jumped and turned around to find Armando standing there.
âWould you like to come back into the garden?â he said, putting an arm on Harrisâs shoulder. âMs Crewe has suggested a swim and has suggested you can change in the pool house. Iâll show you where it is.â
Harris followed Armando back out to the poolside in a daze. They crossed the bridge separating the two pools and he saw that the smaller one had jets under the water and must be more of an oversized jacuzzi built into the ground. They walked towards the expanse of trees, though still staying around the pool edge, until they came to what looked like a summer house, although Harris thought it looked bigger than many actual houses.
âI ⦠donât have any swim shorts with me,â Harris said.
âYouâll find everything you need waiting for you inside.â Armando said. âAnd donât worry. She wonât bite. I can promise you that. Not unless you ask her to.â He winked at Harris, then turned to walk back towards the house.
Harris opened the door. The interior was just one room, consisting of a small table and white wooden chairs, upon which were piles of soft-looking towels and a lamp. In the middle of the room was a bed. Harris froze. On the bed, was a woman. Natasha. She was naked, lying on her back, one arm behind her head, the other resting by her side. Her legs were apart.
âHereâs my handsome boy,â she cooed, and chuckled a little.
Harris felt as if he was walking through a dream. His senses felt dulled, muted, as if what was happening wasnât real. He found it was easy to do as Natasha asked â to remove his top and take off his trousers, all while she watched on. He stood there as naked as she was, and when she raised her arm and held her hand out towards him, he did the only thing he could think of. He took it.
