Sausage Parmesan Panini
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 1
½ pound Italian pork sausage
1 long roll
4 slices mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
This panini can get messy if you overstuff it. For neater results, try slicing the sausage in half lengthwise. This will help stop it from rolling out of the panini and onto your lap.
1. Preheat the panini press. Add sausage to panini press and cook for 5–7 minutes. Remove from grill and slice in half if desired.
2. Cut open the long roll and add the sausage, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce.
3. Place on panini press, close lid, and cook for 2–3 minutes.
4. Cut in half and serve warm.
