Melon Crème Brûlée

We guarantee this recipe is the best version of Crème Brûlée you will ever need.

Servings: 4

Total Time: 1hour 20mins

Ingredients:

• 1 small cantaloupe (peeled, seeded, cut into chunks)

• 1 small honeydew melon (peeled, seeded, cut into chunks)

• ¾ cup light brown sugar

• ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice

• 2 tsp firmly packed orange zest (grated)

• 1 cup sour cream

• 1 tbsp sugar

• 2 tbsp fresh mint (finely chopped)

Directions:

1. Add the chunks of melon to a casserole dish, and toss with the light brown sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. Set aside to stand for between 1-2 hours.

2. When you are ready to serve, preheat your broiler.

3. Re-arrange the melon into an even layer and spread the sour cream over the top. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp of sugar.

4. Place the dish under the broiler, keeping it 4-5" away from the heat source for 2-3 minutes until the sugar caramelizes.

5. Top with mint and serve.
