Waking up, in a room that isn't yours, is a strange feeling. I've only had alcohol one other time, before last night, and it didn't leave my head pounding quite like this.

I lie in bed and think about last night. I love this family. Ella may have married into them, but they have accepted me with open arms, and it was so great to have them to talk to last night.

All I can think about over the next few days is my date with Nick. What boundaries do I want? What is he expecting? What am I going to wear?

Nick texts me several times a day. Sometimes, it's photos of a new food item on the menu, and sometimes, it's of his animals. He texted a photo of the finished pigpen today. He’s so excited about it, and I'm excited to see the baby pigs he has coming.

He’s getting them from a farm about an hour from here. Since my dad is going to pick them up for him, my mom is going too, and they are making a day out of it.

Friday, I spend the whole day obsessing over what to wear. Ella even lets me raid her closet, which turns into going through just about everyone’s closets. Finally, by dinner, I have it narrowed down to three outfits.

Normal everyday attire of jeans and a nice shirt with boots, or leggings with a sweater dress and ankle boots is under consideration. The third pick is a long sleeve, deep purple maxi dress with a lace belt at the waistline. The neckline dips a bit lower than anything I've worn before, but it’s still pretty modest. Everyone, even the guys, agree to go with the purple dress, and I have Sarah to thank for that.

The way they acted, you would think it was a huge contest, and Sarah was taking home a gold medal.
