Whatever happened to the Barbie dolls with a ‘50s soda fountain set like I had as a girl? She just liked to hang out by the jukebox in a poodle skirt, waiting for Ken to pick her up from a sock hop. The real Ken never arrived, but I learned very good “waiting patiently” skills. And look at me now: I married a man who picks me up from places all the time.
