FOR TWO, despite me trying to train him for an hour after tea, Mr Paws is still unable to open the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs, so I’ve lost my STAY-AWAKE DOODLE DIARY bedtime buddy.

And FOR THREE (most disastrous of all), the treat cupboard (which I used to be able to access by standing on a chair) is now near impossible to open without making a ton of noise or dislocating two fingers as EVERY kitchen cabinet has been fitted with a stupid safety catch.

Oh well, at least my knicker drawer wasn’t baby-proofed; my emergency jelly babies remain safe.
