3.Preview the effect.

with the Playhead positioned just to the left of the ampersand you just altered, click the Play button on the Canvas

The ampersand drops in from the top of the canvas, bounces a few times, and then drops off the bottom of the Canvas.

4.Change the effect’s timing.

on the Timeline, drag the left edge of the ampersand Callout right a few seconds

5.Preview the timing change.

with the Playhead positioned just to the left of the RENAME FOLDERS Callout (the second Callout on Track 2), click the Play button on the Canvas

This time the Callout appears and then, a few seconds later, the animated ampersand does its thing.

6.Modify the effect.

on Track 2, double-click the ampersand you’ve been working with to highlight it on the Canvas

Currently, the ampersand drops in from the top of the Canvas. Let’s see what other tricks you can make the Callout perform.

on the Properties panel, select the In tab

from the Style drop-down menu, choose Hinge
