By the time Corporal Higgs had informed Major Danning of everything he knew about the FACR terrorist Karl Meyer, the aircraft they were on was coming into land at an airfield just outside of Washington.

It would then just be a short drive to a secure facility which had been set up for the special investigations team led by the Major. Here they would catch up with Jessica and Ashton and hopefully Dominic Heller, the Director of Crisis Response.

Their mission was becoming twofold now, to assist Jessica Maynard and her scientific team with any protection they may need and secondly, to track down their new person of interest, Karl Meyer. Major Danning knew that Jessica was doing all she could to understand the virus and try and come up with a solution. If she needed to deploy somewhere then he and his team would be ready to escort her but whilst she was in her laboratory, she was safe so he could afford to focus on finding Meyer.
