If you are the sort who is troubled by any measure of altering in the wake of replicating a formula, you can use either ROW or COLUMN to produce dynamic column files. If you are getting information from back to back columns, this trap gives you a chance to set up one VLOOKUP formula, at that point duplicate it crosswise over without any progressions required.

For instance, with the worker information underneath, we can use the COLUMN capacity to produce a dynamic column list. For the primary formula in cell C3, COLUMN without anyone else will return three, (because column C is third in the worksheet) so we essentially need to subtract one, and duplicate the formula over:
