Adapter type: Database table or view

The database table or view adapter type enables open ODS views to connect to tables or views associated to any schema within an SAP HANA database. The interesting proposition around this adapter type is that it can be used in conjunction with the smart data access functionality of SAP HANA, allowing the consumption of remote data external to the SAP HANA database itself. This will be discussed at the end of this chapter.
