CHAPTER 9

CRUCIFY

Watching our woman wake up and stretch is kind of fucking adorable. I wouldn’t mind waking up to this sight for the rest of my life. She lets out a little grunt as she stretches.

Yep, I wouldn’t mind waking up to this every morning at all.

I’m sure it would be the best thing in my life. Well, waking up with her, spending the day with her, and falling asleep with her. Pure fucking heaven.

I’ve never spent the night with a woman before, but being curled around her was heaven. Spark surprised the fuck out of me and Rites and curled up on her other side. I thought Rites was never going to stop smiling as he nestled down between her legs with his head resting near her tits.

Honestly, I was a little jealous of him. He looked damn comfortable.

But then when our woman reached out for me in her sleep, everything was right in the world. I curled around her side and slept better than I have in a long time.

I’ve been up for a while and moved from the bed so I could watch my woman without waking her up. My brothers woke up as well, and I could see the shutters Spark had over his features when he moved back to the chair in the corner after pulling his clothes back on.

Rites woke up last and he smiled wide as he looked down at Navy. He looked at me, his voice full of reverence as he quietly admitted, “I thought for sure that I’d wake up to find everything was a dream.”

Spark just grunted and I shook my head. It sure as fuck wasn’t a dream, but I have a feeling we’ll have an uphill battle to show her that we’re here for more than just one night together.

We want it all.

But, as I look over at Spark, I’m a little concerned we might get in our own way. At least he will. I have zero problem admitting how much I want and need our woman or sharing her. I’m more than willing to put her needs as well as the needs of my brothers above my own selfish bullshit.

I almost feel for Prez considering he puts his brothers and the club before everything else. I would love to say he could have her just for him because he deserves it, but that would be a step too far in my loyalty to my Prez. Not with how much I need her myself.

She settles a primal need in me, one I’ve used without remorse in protecting the club. I know blood stains my hands. I’ve tried to balance that violence with the good that the club does, but I’m not sure my soul can be saved at this point.

I do know I would be a step closer to redemption with Navy in my life because she would be my reason and my priority.

I almost laugh when Navy’s eyes pop open and she looks around the room wildly. She tenses when she sees that we’re still in the room with her and sits up quickly.
