Auld Reekie

The journey to Edinburgh was sixty miles long. On the way, Burns kept getting stopped by people who wanted to meet him.

‘Address To A Haggis’ is about a haggis that’s going to be eaten. Now, as we all know, a haggis is a mythical Scottish creature with one leg longer than the other so that it can run around the Highland hillsides with ease.

Only joking. Haggis is of course a very old, traditional Scottish meal that’s been around for centuries, and possibly more than a thousand years. It has slimy and squishy ingredients.
