Discussion

It is quite unfortunate that only two cemeteries of the funerary-structure type were available for examination, and that even these were subject to a variety of circumstantial restrictions, including as-yet incomplete publication or problems of preservation. With time, more cemeteries of this kind are likely to come to light that will permit a more accurate understanding of their nature. For the time being, however, we will have to make do with the data offered above, which, despite their obvious limitations, still demonstrate some important lines of similarity and variation.
