To edit with your pointer in Trim mode

1. Select the edit and target clip. In this example, I’m performing a Ripple Trim In , which means a ripple edit on the incoming clip (on the right). You can’t tell this by looking at the Trim Monitor (unless the pointer is hovering over either clip), but a quick glance at the Timeline (yellow bracket on In clip) confirms this.

In Trim mode. You can tell it’s either a Trim In edit or a Ripple Trim In edit because the mode indicator is on the In clip. But which is it?
