15. Veal Steak

Preparation time: 15 minutes 2 hours marinating time

Cook time: 35 minutes (baking) / 4 minutes (grilling)

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

4 veal steaks, 1 ¼ inch thick

1 lb. Boiled potatoes

4 tablespoons butter

1 bunch kale, boiled

chopped parsley for garnish

sea salt and black pepper, to taste

Marinade/Sauce

1 ½ tablespoon chili sauce

6 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup white wine

2 bay leaves

1/3 cup olive oil

salt to taste

Directions:

1. Combine the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the veal and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

2. Preheat your oven to 350° Fahrenheit.

3. Place your marinated veal in a baking dish.

4. Place boiled potatoes around the veal.

5. Pour the marinade over potatoes.

6. Bake your veal until desired doneness and potatoes are slightly browned (about 35 minutes).

7. Dab with butter, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
