Backgrounds can be dragged onto an image as a new layer, and the rest of the content can interact with the background through the application of layer masks or opacity (see here )

There are hundreds of graphics that can be used, but try not to add too many to a single image as it may become too cluttered.

Click on the Layers panel button after graphics have been added to see how this affects the construction of the image.
