CHAPTER TWELVE

Daisy - Go-Go Juice is life

Rising early I meet Beau in the kitchen at 5am like we agreed last night. He looks me up and down and lets out a small chuckle shaking his head at my lack of caffeine state.

He passes me a large travel cup, I immediately inhale the immaculate smell of coffee with a mountain of sugar and milk in it. "Ah my go-go juice!" I exclaim, refusing to move my nose more than an inch away from the sweet sweet nectar of life.

"You really can't function without your go-go juice, can you?" he teases, a playful glint in his eyes.

I shoot him a mock glare, my lips still pressed to the rim of the cup. "Not a chance. This is my lifeline."

Beau gestures for me to follow him outside "Drink up, little flower we've got all the ladies waiting for us this morning"

I nod my head, focusing hard of my source of life at this ungodly hour "Sir, yes sir!" I bark back at Beau. He immediately stops walking and I slam into his back again, mumbling about this freaking Alpha stopping in walkways like this. He ignores my ramblings and I lookup at him, noting the dark look of his pupils,

"Sir is good enough for now, little flower but I'm going to insist you call me Daddy in the future, you just keep seeming to want to have this conversation about your limits already".

Smiling down at me, I swear I can feel my heart beating out of my traitorous pussy, my perfume clearly hanging heavy in the air. The morning air is crisp as Beau and I step outside, my hands clutching the warm coffee cup as if it's the elixir of life itself. I take a sip, relishing the rich blend that awakens my senses. Beau glances at my obvious dependence on caffeine and chuckles, shaking his head.

As we walk between the animal shelters and exploring all the farm, Beau's hand rests comfortably on my thigh whenever we are back in the farm gator. I shoot him a sidelong glance, and he winks at me, a silent understanding passing between us. His touch is both reassuring and electrifying, creating a magnetic connection that I can't deny.

The tour continues, and Beau takes me to his favourite spot on the farm. The view is breathtaking looking up into The Grampians, takes my breath away, a silent understanding continuous to flow between us, as he shares stories about the joy he feels through the pack bond, particularly the happiness he sensed from Luke last night. His words are sincere, and there's a vulnerability in his gaze that tugs at my heart.

"I want that happiness too, little flower," Beau confesses, his eyes searching mine. Before I can respond, he leans in, capturing my lips in a tender kiss. The world around us fades away, and for a moment, it's just Beau and me, connected by a shared desire for something more.

As we pull away, I can't help but feel a whirlwind of emotions.
