Take in a moment to soak in the Invoice Screen. This is quite different from earlier versions of the program. Instead of hiding functions in the Main Menu, Intuit has made some of these options visible in the 2013 version.

See the below pull down list? It’s a pull down list off all the customer cards that have been created.

Pick one! Yah! It pulls up her name and address. Most good! If you need to change the date, do so. Notice that it auto creates an invoice number. You can change that if you like. Most people like to start the numbering at 1000. The program will add one digit for each invoice. So if you type in 1000, the next invoice number should be 1001.
