Installing the Plug-in on the OVS

The storage plug-in needs to be installed on each OVS that will be leveraging the ability of the plug-in. To do this, copy the appropriate plug-in to the OVS. The plug-in is version specific, with OVM 3.2.x using one version and OVM 3.3.x and OVM 3.4.x using a different version. The reason for this is that the API changed significantly between OVM 3.2 and OVM 3.3.

Before installing the RPM Package Manager (RPM) file, verify that an older version of the RPM is not already installed:
