OnTheOtherSide42: Normally it shows up early December (I’ve been to the Christmas market as early as December 3 and it was there, so it may show up sooner. But this year—nothing. Anyone had this happen? (Chicago)

SillyString137: Based on the data collected from various sources, there seems to be a randomness. If there is a pattern, I don’t have enough data to identify yet. I’ve attached a link to my spreadsheet. As you can see, it doesn’t appear in every location every year. If it is going to appear, it will on December 1 and be gone by Christmas morning. Exact times haven’t been identified yet.
