Nolan set Chelsea down on her feet beside his bed and took a step back, astonished at his rapid heart rate and the irregular cadence of his breathing. “Let me look at you,” he said, his eyes roving over her naked perfection, seeing the effort it cost her to hold still beneath his scrutiny. “You are gorgeous.”

“You’re not so bad yourself.”

“I can’t wait to get to know every inch of you.”

“I want that.” She blew out a ragged breath. “Can we get started?”

“You’re in a hurry?”

“I’m suddenly really nervous.”

This was his moment to reassure her, so Nolan stepped closer and cupped her cheek in one palm. “You don’t need to be nervous. I’ll take care of you.” He threaded her long hair through his fingers and gave a gentle tug.

“I know you will,” she responded, edging closer until the heat of their skin leaped across the narrow distance between them and burned away her hesitation. She smoothed her hand over his chest, fingers dancing over his pecs. “In fact, I’m counting on it.”

Nolan drew in a deep breath and sighed as she raked her nails down his abs, letting her nerves settle as she explored his hard planes, the structure of bones beneath his overheated skin. At last he could take no more and took her by the shoulders, pivoting her toward the bed. As the backs of her knees encountered the mattress, she flopped backward, spreading her arms wide as she landed. Nolan stared hungrily at her firm breasts, watching her nipples harden beneath his regard. Shooting him an enticing grin, she wiggled her way toward the middle of the bed.

Reaching into the nightstand, he pulled out a condom and slid it on. Her eyes flashed, feral and wild, as she watched his every movement.

“Nolan.” Greedy and impatient, his name was a growl torn from her lips. She arched her back and drew her fingertips from her navel to the cleft between her breasts. “Touch me, please.”

He smiled wolfishly. Setting his knee on the bed beside her, he caressed along her thigh and into the indent of her waist, riding her ribs to the soft curve of her breast. She sucked in a breath as he cupped her gently and then squeezed before feathering fingertips across her tight nipples.

“This is where I’ve wanted you from the first moment I saw you,” he murmured, his voice hot and hungry. Nolan captured one rosy bud between his lips and flicked his tongue over it. “Naked, in my bed.”

“I want you,” she whispered, her thighs falling open as she rocked her hips. “Make me yours.”

Her plea lanced through him like lightning. It felt so good to have her hands roaming over his body, but he’d waited so long to have her, and holding back much longer might have catastrophic consequences. He shifted between her thighs, settling his hand on the back of her leg, opening her wide, making room for himself. She obliged with a soft purr of delight, raking her fingers through his hair.
