TEA IN SMOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups mango pieces, frozen

2 cups sliced carrots

4 cups water

5 green tea bags

2 tsp honey

1 tbsp. chia seeds, (optional)

1 freshly sliced ginger

DIRECTION:

Take a saucepan, add water and bring it to boil.

Add carrots to the boiling water and cook for 15 18min, until very soft and tender

Add ginger slices for the last 2min of cooking.

Remove the saucepan from heat and add green tea bags. Cover and keep for few minutes.

Now, squeeze the tea from the bags, remove ginger slices. Refrigerate for 10minutes.

Move the carrot mixture to the blender and to the mixture add honey, mango and chia (if required).

Cover and blend until smooth.

Serve it.
