No Fill Color

With other Office programs, like Word or Excel, you can add a fill color to the shape’s interior area. OneNote does not feature this tool; however, you can color in the interior using the Pen tool.

Pen Properties

You can right-click or press and hold a selected shape or line to reveal a pop-up toolbar that includes access to the Pen tool’s line thickness and color. Click or tap the Pen Properties command to change the selected item’s formatting.
