“How did you make a junk flier without magic?!” roared Kundows. “Levitaraniosis!” Kundows levitated up into the air. Lucy had expected this and she sent a lightning bolt. Kundows sent a spray of water that mixed with the electric currents of the thunderbolt and backfired upon Lucy. She silently whispered a spell which brought sand raining down. Monks flew down under a chair to save his eyes from the falling sand, while Kundows put a counter-curse on Lucy.

“You are banished!” shouted Kundows, “Destrucionious Maxicarno!”

Then there was a pause everywhere in the room. It was the deepest silence that either of them had experienced. Then, from above there was a scream. The junk flier was falling slowly piece by piece. Lucy had lost her magic. She was falling down. But the curse was not enough to completely ground her and she hanged on to a floating piece of the junk flier.

“Oh, is that the case? Perderenious!” shouted Kundows, as he let out another destructive spell. This time, it hit Lucy right on the head. As the magic passed through her body, it also passed through the last of the junk flier and it broke.

“You won’t get away with this Kundows!!” said Lucy.

“I am sure that I will” said Kundows.

A faint curse echoed from Lucy’s mouth. Kundows did not wait for any longer.

“Desterradonious Absintcolo!” hissed Kundows. He had finally said the banishing curse. Lucy’s body mutated completely; her green skin begat to rot. Then Kundows’s magic power exploded in her and she defragmented and was transported across the ocean. Monks stood up and dusted himself.

“Right, Monks, you are the treasure box of ideas worthy of a criminal’s mind, but all of them cannot be achieved. So what is your plan for today?” It was not common for Kundows to ask such questions when there were other things to be done, but this told Monks that Kundows had something in store. Something good or something bad. It was not worthwhile looking forward to something good alone when it was Kundows.

“You very well know my plan,” said Monks, in such a tone that he was surprised that Kundows did not send him down.

“Yes, I do know about your plan and that brings me to the conclusion that you must be the one to act out most of it,” said Kundows, who sounded like he was enjoying himself. “You are going to be the pretend acquaintance at Bluebell.”

“No!! Not me!!” shouted Monks. “I am not showing up on land until I am completely sure that Arlo is dead! And also if Anderson were to find out, it is my end!”

“I have already thought about it. And when it is over, neither Anderson nor Hover will recognize you,” said Kundows, walking towards Monks. Monks, with a little fear, managed to stand straight. Then Kundows raised his arm and muttered an enchantment. Monks’s features began to blur. Then they began to build up by themselves. Monks’s dirty blonde hair darkened and turned dark black brown. Most of his beard fell off, leaving a pointy bit across his chin, which looked very much like a goatee.
