This is a giant RV park adjacent to a pretty and easily accessible stretch of the Feather River. There are many possible side-trip destinations, including Plumas-Eureka State Park, Lakes Basin Recreation Area, several nearby golf courses, and a horseback-riding facility. The elevation is about 4,500 feet. Many of the sites are rented for the entire summer season.
Campsites, facilities: There are 220 sites with full hookups (50 amps) for RVs of any length. Some sites are pull-through. Picnic tables are provided. Drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets and coin showers, coin laundry, Wi-Fi (some sites), and cable TV are available. A grocery store is within three miles. Some facilities are wheelchair-accessible. Leashed pets are permitted, with certain restrictions.
Reservations, fees: Reservations are accepted. RV sites with hookups are $40-50 per night, plus $5 per person per night for more than two people, $2 per night per additional vehicle, and $2-5 per pet per night. Weekly and monthly rates are available. Some credit cards are accepted. Open mid-April through October.
Directions: From Truckee, drive north on Highway 89 toward Graeagle and Blairsden. Near Clio (4.5 miles south of Highway 70 at Blairsden), look for the campground entrance on the right (0.2 mile south of Graeagle).
